Concerts in Atlanta in December 2026

December is one of Atlanta’s most festive months, with cooler weather, holiday lights, seasonal markets and a busy entertainment calendar across the city. Concert nights often pair naturally with dinner, nightlife and holiday activities in Downtown, Midtown, Buckhead and other popular districts.

The weather is noticeably cooler than in fall, especially after sunset, so concertgoers should plan for jackets and extra layers when walking between venues, restaurants and parking areas.

Atlanta’s holiday calendar is especially active in December. The city’s official event calendar includes the Buckhead Handmade Holiday Market on December 5–6, Livable Buckhead’s Holiday Market on December 5, and the ATL Holiday Market on December 12–13, adding shopping, food and seasonal activity around the city. :chatgpt-content-reference{index="0"}

Other seasonal events include the Kirkwood Annual Holiday Tree Lighting and holiday-themed runs such as Run Santa Run Atlanta and the Atlanta Jingle Bell Jog on December 20. :chatgpt-content-reference{index="1"}

For visitors planning a concert in December, the combination of live music, holiday events and seasonal attractions makes it one of the most atmospheric times of year to spend an evening in Atlanta.

Atlanta’s December concert calendar typically combines major touring artists with club shows, theater performances, holiday concerts and year-end events. State Farm Arena, Coca-Cola Roxy, The Eastern, Tabernacle, Buckhead Theatre, Terminal West and The Masquerade are among the venues that continue hosting live music throughout the month.

December also brings more seasonal performances and special holiday programming than most other months, while rock, pop, hip-hop, country, R&B, electronic and alternative shows continue across Atlanta’s regular music venues.
